Disney Animator dolls ready for Christmas/ Animators prêtes pour Noël
This summer, when I bought a load of Disney Animator dolls second-hand, it was with a view to gifting them to a couple of girls I know. Dolls were cleaned and hair was washed and redone where necessary, and then I decided to make some clothes as well.
Cette été j’ai acheté un lot de poupées Disney Animator d’occas, avec l’idée d’en offrir à quelques petites filles dans mon entourage. J’ai nettoyé les poupées, lavé et recoiffé, là où nécessaire, et ensuite j’ai décidé de faire un peu de tricot et couture.
For Anna & Elsa I just knitted a cardigan for each, and bought a pair of black shoes for Anna who was minus her tights & shoes. They will be going to their new home with Olaf.
Pour Anna & Elsa je n’ai fait que tricoter un petit gilet, et j’ai acheté une paire de chaussures pour Anna qui est venue sans collants ni chaussures. Elles partiront ensemble avec Olaf.
For Vaiana and Ariel, I went a little bit further, and made a dress for both, with a coordinated cardigan. Vaiana was rather a challenge, as she is very short & stocky so I had to completely redraft both dress & cardigan pattern (original pattern by My Dandelion Dolls). Obviously, these two will also be taking their original outfits with them, but I think they look so cute in their new outfits.
Pour Vaiana et Ariel, j’ai tricoté un gilet et cousu une robe toujours en me basant sur le patron de My Dandelion Dolls, mais en modifiant complètement pour la poupée Vaiana. Ces deux poupées partiront avec la tenue d’origine plus la tenue fait-maison.
Especially little Vaiana!
Je trouve que Vaiana est vraiment trop craquante dans sa robe et gilet rose!
Anyway, here are the 4 dolls together, just before being wrapped up.

the little blue cardigan / le petit gilet bleu
After sewing 2 pretty blue floral dresses in Animator and SN Finouche sizes (pattern by My Dandelion Dolls) I chose a pretty sky blue yarn to knit a cardigan to complete the outfit (also by My Dandelion Dolls).
Après la couture de deux petites robes en taille Animator, et aussi adapté pour une SN Finouche (patron de My Dandelion Dolls), j’ai fait un peu de tricot, également avec patron de My Dandelion Dolls.
I added a few extra rows under sleeve for the Sylvia Natterer doll as she is slightly longer in the body, and the pattern I have is for Animator dolls.
Quelques rangées supplémentaires pour le gilet taille SN Finouche mais sinon, le patron taille Animator était bien.
Now I know what alterations to make on both dress and knitting pattern, I’ll definitely be making some more outfits like this, in different colours!
J’espère trouver bientôt le temps de faire d’autres ensembles comme cela. Le gilet se tricote très vite et ne demande que très peu de fil. Quant aux robes . . . j’ai fait avec mes chutes.
the little blue floral dress / la petite robe fleurie bleue
I’ve been having fun with my sewing machine and a pattern bought on etsy (by My Dandelion Dolls) which I have redrafted slightly to change size . . . because I wanted to make a little outfit for my Finouche sized Sylvia Natterer doll, Alix. Not only did I make a dress, but I also made a little headband to match.
J’ai fait un peu de couture cette semaine, à suivre un patron (My Dandelion Dolls) et surtout à l’adapter à ma poupée Finouche de Sylvia Natterer. J’ai fait la robe, et ensuite j’ai cousu une bande de tissu, avec un peu d’élastique, pour faire un serre-tête.
So cute, that I then cut out again in Animator size. J’en étais tellement contente, j’en ai fait une deuxième en taille Animator.
I’ve already cut out patterns in a different fabric to make 2 more dresses, both in Finouche and Animator sizes. But first . . . some knitting because I think both dolls need a matching cardigan!
Je prévois de faire d’autres robes, mais d’abord, je pense qu’il faut faire un peu de tricot. Les poupées seraient mieux habillées avec un gilet assorti à la robe.
