With the arrival of some smaller girls to my doll collection I went in search of inspiration, and free patterns (if possible) to make some clothes. Such joy, when I came across Happy Bankky who is such a generous person and offers several really great patterns!
Avec l’arrivée des filles plus petites, j’ai dû chercher un peu d’inspiration (et des patrons gratuits) pour faire des vêtements. Quel bonheur, de trouver le blog de Happy Bankky alors, qui offre plusieurs patrons et tutos.
First I crocheted a couple of tops, changing hook size and loosening tension until I got the right size. Happy Bankky’s 14″ doll patterns are with aran yarn (I use DK) and her dolls are perhaps a fraction bigger than mine. Anyway, I was really pleased with my first attempts although I do think the skirt is rather short & snug on Miss 50 centimes (on the right).
D’abord j’ai suivi le patron pour faire un petit haut, et ensuite j’ai tenté la jupe. Les poupées de Happy Banky sont un peu plus grandes que les miennes, et elle utilise une laine plus épaisse, alors j’ai dû joué avec choix de crochet et tension. Je ne suis pas trop fan de la jupe en crochet, mais fallait bien essayer.
I then had a go following Happy Bankky’s pattern to make bow-tie sandals. My first attempt didn’t turn out brilliantly (not the pattern’s fault!) as it was also my first attempt at using my hot-glue gun. But saying that, they do fit, and I also made a matching skirt (no pattern, just made it to fit).
Ensuite j’ai suivi le patron de Happy Bankky pour faire une paire de sandale. Pas évident, car c’était aussi mon premier essai avec mon pistolet à colle . . . mais au finale, pas trop mal pour un premier essai.
So here are my two Las Amigas dolls (Paola Reina 32cm). Liu, on the right wearing top & sandals following Happy Bankky patterns, and a skirt I made up as I went along. Cristi (left) wearing top & skirt following Happy Bankky patterns.

Et voilà ce que cela donne quand une grande joue à la poupée ! Je suppose qu’on se prend au jeu d’habiller ses poupées quand on les collectionne. Elles sont toutes mignonnettes. J’adore tes sandales.

ce qui est bien quand on bidouille pour les poupées . . . en moins d’un heure, on a un petit haut, ou petite jupe. Je m’entraine aussi pour quand notre Petite Viking sera assez grande pour vouloir jouer à la poupée et me demandera de faire des tenues pour les siennes.

On your other post, I commented that these were ‘dresses’ and now I see that they are skirts and tops. They’re very nice. Someone I know on FB has been attaching the skirt part to the crocheted top and making it into a dress, which I’m going to try too. I like both options but have never tried the dress one so will give that a go.
I also like your little knotted sandals, it’s great to have them matching her skirt.

Footwear is something I really need to make more of. I bought in a few supplies, including different coloured fake leather, to try differentt styles but dolls feet are so small, and I find all the gluing together very fiddly.
